Hammarby IF has finished the season in a great way with three wins in a row against Göteborg, AIK, and Malmö.
What happened in the match against Degerfors?
The match against Degerfors was a fairly classic autumn match, similar to last year's match against Västerås away. Dark, cold and fairly slow football. But at the same time, these matches have something. The atmosphere in the stands is nice and relaxed.
What does the future hold for Hammarby IF?
After having digested the depressing feeling that was after the away match in Uppsala, where we were completely outplayed by IK Sirius, the season has now ended in a great way. Of course, there is one match left against Elfsborg at home, but three wins in a row against Göteborg, AIK, and not least Malmö make the aftertaste less bitter than if we had collapsed completely after the summer.
Who is the most important player for Hammarby IF?
Kim Hellberg and the leadership team have done a fantastic job of developing the players. I think you easily see the results and miss what Kim Hellberg does for individual players' performances in Hammarby. Vagic, Pinas, Tekie, Lahdo, and not least Madjed are players who I don't think would have developed as they have without Kim and the team.
What happens next season?
In my opinion, it's obviously important to strengthen the squad for next season, but with a loss of Hellberg, I don't think we can challenge for any gold in 2026. Keep Kim Hellberg at all costs! Nahir Besara also has something to play for, such as fighting in the top scorer table. The tactic should be clear and the goal must be set, because on Sunday we will look for Nahir at every given opportunity. Look for free kicks, look for penalties, release the ball to Nahir and let all of Sweden see what kind of person and player this is. I hope and believe that he will play 90 minutes on Sunday and in that way can punish a completely checked-out Elfsborg. On Sunday, I want to see that we finish with three points and a sold-out crowd!! Forward Hammarby!!
